STAR LRT
The STAR Line is an elevated, driver-operated rail service. Operating from 06:00 until near midnight, it offers another cheap and convenient means of getting around the city while taking in the sights.

KL Monorail
With a total of 11 fully elevated stations, each between 06:00 to 10:00 metres apart, the KL Monorail service is a cheap, convenient and enjoyable means of sightseeing within the busier parts of the city. The locations of the stations are especially ideal for leisure and shopping. Trains run from 06:00 to 24:00, every 2-5 minutes during peak hours and 5-10 minutes off-peak.

KTM Komuter
The KTM commuter train service has two lines and offers of network of 45 stations linking the city to towns as far as Seremban. Passengers bound for the KLIA can take this electrifed train service to the Nilai station and then board a bus from there to the airport. Better still, stop at the KL Sentral station and take the KLIA Ekspres to KLIA.

Taxis
Taxis are a fast, safe and relatively economical way to get around the city, especially if you are a first time visitor. Make sure that the meters are on as soon as you get in and avoid negotiating fares upfront. Taxis flag-off starts from RM3. Surcharges apply after midnight and during heavy rain.
