The KL International Airport (KLIA) is located 75 km south of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre. It is an hour drive by direct motorway link or 28 minutes on the KLIA Ekspres Rail Link. KLIA is currently served by 47 airlines operating to and from over 100 scheduled destinations. Direct and mid to long haul access is provided to five Australian and five Middle East cities, seven North American and African cities and nine European cities plus the Asian regional and domestic network.

KLIA Ekspres is an express service that exclusively serves travellers between KLIA and Kuala Lumpur. The journey takes 28 minutes one way and terminates at KL Sentral, the nation's main rail transportation hub. A one-way adult ticket costs RM35.
