- What is the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA)?
The WCOA is the flagship event of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The World Congress, which has been held since 1904, is a highly respected and well attended global forum attracting a meeting of influential communities to share in the latest information, innovative ideas and exchange views on a platform of international and regional interest. The last WCOA was held in Istanbul, Turkey in 2006.
